moving or inspiring. I was visiting my friend's ranch when I was taken by an old pump jack that inspired me to paint this scene of three old nags put out to pasture ...

"Three Kings"

I have always found beauty and interest in rusty, corroded old machinery. That being the case, I was excited by the challenge to paint a natural gas refinery for my husband's office and this is the result.  36"x 48" acrylic on canvas.

Today the sky was gray and the air was cool...trees are starting to change...I think autumn is officially here!
